LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The No. 1 Nebraska volleyball team turned aside Michigan State 25-15, 25-15, 25-18 in front of a crowd of 8,496 at John Cook Arena at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Saturday night.
Nebraska (20-0, 10-0 Big Ten) extended its streak of consecutive sweeps to 11 and consecutive sets won to 34. Both are the best since 2007. NU also improved to 56-0 on the season when reaching the red zone (20 points) first.
Bergen Reilly had 37 assists, eight digs and five blocks to lead the Huskers to a .382 hitting percentage. Reilly passed Lauren Cook for No. 4 in career assists in the rally-scoring era, now with 3,225.
Six different Huskers had at least five kills: Teraya Sigler (9), Rebekah Allick (8), Harper Murray (8), Virginia Adriano (7), Andi Jackson (7) and Manaia Ogbechie
