WHITE HALL, Ill. -- Camp Point Central was firing on all cylinders on Thursday night, defeating North Greene 70-8.
Although the Panthers gave up a late touchdown in the fourth quarter, the Central defense was dominant and held North Greene to negative eight yards of offense.
The Panthers struck early and often, building up a 50-0 lead by halftime.
Panthers quarterback Kale Niekamp completed 5-of-6 passes for 195 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran twice for 18 yards and another score.
Central senior Dylan Mowen was the leading rusher with three carries for 56 yards and a touchdown. Curtis Rigg had a 40-yard rushing touchdown and Marco Rodriguez had a 23-yard rushing touchdown.
