Dr. Alastair Hoyt is a neurosurgeon at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He earned his doctorate of medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Hoyt specializes in deep brain stimulation, a procedure used to treat movement disorders that places electrodes deep in the brain. UTMC is the first and only place in northwest Ohio providing DBS implantation.
