Bhubaneswar: A low-pressure system over the southeast Bay of Bengal has intensified into a Deep Depression and is moving west-northwestwards at a speed of 10 kmph. As of 5:30 AM IST on October 26, 2025, the system is centered near latitude 11.1°N and longitude 87.2°E.
The system is currently located about 610 km west of Port Blair (Andaman & Nicobar Islands), 790 km east-southeast of Chennai (Tamil Nadu), 850 km south-southeast of Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), 840 km southeast of Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), and 950 km south-southeast of Gopalpur (Odisha).
