England Vs New Zealand (England women’s cricket team vs New Zealand women’s cricket team) Highlights: England opener Amy Jones struck an unbeaten half-century, while Tammy Beaumont and batting stalwart Heather Knight also made useful contributions, as the four-time champions defeated New Zealand by eight wickets in a Women’s World Cup match on Sunday.

Jones scored 86 not out off 92 balls, hitting 11 fours and one six. Beaumont added 40 runs off 38 balls, including seven fours, as they shared a 75-run opening-wicket stand in the dead rubber. England chased down the modest 169-run target in 29.2 overs, with Knight contributing 33 runs.

Choosing to bat first, New Zealand were dismissed for 168 in 38.2 overs.
