JOHNSON CITY- Homecoming fans were sent home happy as the East Tennessee State Buccaneers downed Wofford 14-10 Saturday afternoon at Greene Stadium. All of the Bucs’ scoring came in the first quarter and was produced by Devontae Houston as he scored TD’s of 28 and six yards and finished the day with 94 yards on 18 carries. Cade McNamara started under center for ETSU and was efficient, going 12-of-13 for 103 yards before suffering a back injury in the first half. He was replaced by his brother Jake who went 14-of-18 for 97 yards. The Bucs out-gained the Terriers 323-307 in total yards and both teams were haunted by penalties as Wofford was flagged for 130 yards and ETSU was penalized 100 yards.
