Veteran actor Satish Shah , best known for his role in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, passed away in Mumbai on Saturday at the age of 74 following a kidney ailment. Satish had undergone a kidney transplant earlier this year. One of the actor’s closest friends, actor Sachin Pilgaonkar revealed that Satish chose to undergo the procedure so he could better care for his wife, Madhu, who is battling Alzheimer’s disease.

Talking about Satish and Madhu, Sachin told News18, “Satish and Madhu have always been extremely warm and lovable. We saw to it that we invited them to the premieres of all our films.
