SRINAGAR : Actor Nimrat Kaur visited her father Major Bhupender Singh’s memorial in Kashmir on his 73rd birth anniversary, marking an emotional homecoming to the place where he laid down his life in the line of duty. Sharing glimpses from her visit on social media, Nimrat wrote that a year ago, on the same day, the Indian Army had immortalised her father’s life journey at his birthplace, Mohanpura in Rajasthan. “What we didn’t know then was that within a year, we would witness a further cementing of that dream on the soil where he was martyred,” she said.
