Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 26 (UNI) The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings of heavy to very heavy rainfall in various parts of Kerala over the next four days.

An Orange Alert has been issued for Kozhikode and Kannur districts on October 27, where very heavy rainfall ranging from 12 to 20 cm within 24 hours is likely to occur.

A Yellow Alert has been sounded for Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod districts on October 26, Alappuzha, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Wayanad and Kasaragod districts on October 27, and Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki districts on October 28.
