Ahmedabad: The much-anticipated Indian Air Force (IAF) air show by the Surya Kiran Aerobatics Team , scheduled in Ahmedabad on October 26, has been canceled at the last minute to prevent disruption of commercial flight operations.

According to sources, the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad is witnessing heavy air traffic due to the festive rush and Summer vacation in Gujarat. Conducting an air show for an hour would have required suspending all flight takeoffs and landings for about one and a half hours, potentially disturbing the schedule of nearly 40 flights.
