Tirumala’s sacred ‘Appapadi’ ritual will continue with ceremonial offerings in Tirupati, u pholding a tradition that has remained unbroken for centuries. Sri Venkateswara Swamy of Tirumala will symbolically send the sacred prasadam — known as Appapadi — to his devotees, reflecting "infinite compassion and grace", according to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams official website.

The Appapadi ritual, is a timeless practice in the Sri Vaishnava tradition, which is observed on the auspicious birth star days (Tirunakshatra) of revered Sri Vaishnava Acharyas.
