Attendance Allowance are being given Department for Work and Pensions ( DWP ) payments for the next FIVE YEARS. DWP data shows 563,746 of people claiming Attendance Allowance have been granted an award of five years or more.

Attendance Allowance is paid weekly at 2 different rates - the one you get depends on the level of help you need. Attendance Allowance is not means-tested - what you earn or how much you have in savings will not affect what you get.

The lower rate, if you need frequent help or constant supervision during the day, or supervision at night, is worth £73. The higher rate is £110 - for help or supervision throughout both day and night, or a medical professional has said you’re nearing the end of life.
