Monroe County Community College is launching a new Emergency Medical Services Instructor/Coordinator Course. The course will be offered at the college's Bedford Township location, the Whitman Center, starting in mid-January.
The course is designed for individuals who want to become EMS instructors or coordinators. According to a community announcement, the program will run from Jan. 15 through May 5, with classes held every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Those who successfully complete the non-credit course will be eligible to take the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services EMS Instructor/Coordinator exam. Once licensed, graduates may teach both initial and continuing education courses.
