MEMPHIS -- With 5:58 to go in Saturday's fourth quarter, Pacers coach Rick Carlisle made a substitution that put three of his four centers on the floor at the same time.

The 7-1 Jay Huff had just subbed in for the 6-11 James Wiseman , but after a timeout, the Pacers subbed Wiseman back in for small forward Aaron Nesmith and put the 6-8 Isaiah Jackson in for guard Ben Sheppard . Huff, Wiseman and Jackson took the floor with two-way contract point guard RayJ Dennis and Jarace Walker -- who was drafted as a power forward in 2023 but was nominally at that point, the shooting guard.
