An independent diaper brand that started just six years ago has been acquired in a deal that could surpass $1 billion. According to consumer goods company Mammoth Brands, it has agreed to purchase premium baby care brand Coterie.

The popular baby care brand launched in 2019 and makes “hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested, cruelty free” diapers that are made without added fragrances, phthalates, and parabens, according to its website. The brand sells most of its products online, but nonetheless has made a dent in the diaper industry.

In an announcement regarding the acquisition , Mammoth noted that Coterie has sold more than 700 million diapers since 2019 and surpassed $200 million in net revenue in the last twelve months. While the full terms weren’t disclosed, according to Reuters,
