An Italian writer detailed his time exploring Birmingham pubs - and described one boozer as 'simply extraordinary'.

Born in Bergamo, Nicholas Querci knows his way around a pint, being a member of the British Guild of Beer Writers.

Although the writer seemed to enjoy his time around the city, Nicholas singled out one brewery's drink as 'rather disappointing'.
