EAST LANSING, Mich. — Justice Haynes picked up right where he left off.
After going down with an abdominal injury two weeks ago in a loss to Southern Cal, the Michigan running back returned in the only way he knows how during Saturday’s 31-20 win over Michigan State .
Running for big yards and touchdowns.
Haynes totaled 152 yards and two scores against the Spartans, his sixth 100-yard of the season, leading the charge as Michigan dominated on the ground for a fourth straight win over its in-state rival.
“I was very eager to get out there,” Haynes, who did it on 26 carries, said. “It always sucks being hurt, but I can only control the controllables. It was unfortunate; it happened, but I could control what I could control.”
