NFL Week 8 is bringing with it "Byemageddon," as a season-high six teams will be getting a break this week.
The good news for NFL fans? The absence of the Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks won't have a discernable difference on the quantity of games available during the NFL's Sunday slate.
Thanks to recent international games and a couple of "Monday Night Football" doubleheaders, NFL fans have been treated to a Sunday afternoon slate that has routinely featured 10 games. That will match the planned total of games to be broadcast during the Sunday slate in Week 8, as there will be no international games and no "MNF" doubleheader.
Per usual, Fox and CBS will split the broadcast rights to Sunday's NFL games, with each netwrok broadcasting five contests. This time, CBS will broadcast games in both the early- and late-afternoon windows while Fox will broadcast just one of its five games in each region throughout the day.
CBS' marquee matchup is an afternoon clash between Dak Prescott's high-flying Dallas Cowboys offense and Vance Joseph's rock-solid Denver Broncos defense. Meanwhile, most watching Fox will get to see the Philadelphia Eagles attempt to earn a measure of revenge against the New York Giants just weeks after their "Thursday Night Football" defeat at the hands of Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo.
Here's a look at which games will be broadcast in each area of the country during Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season.
