ST. CHARLES, Mo. — KTBS 3 is celebrating a victory after Art Director/Production Manager Ricardo Ruano took home a Mid-America Regional Emmy Award Saturday night.
Ruano was honored for Outstanding Achievement in Graphic Arts for his work on the station's Friday Football Fever graphics package, earning the prestigious award at the ceremony held in St. Charles, Missouri. The win highlights the creative and technical talent behind the station's sports coverage.
The station also celebrated several other nominations.
First News producer Karen Kelder was recognized in the Best Morning Daytime Newscast category. In addition, anchor/reporter Brenda Teele and photojournalist Madelyn Dupont were nominated for their work in the Historical/Cultural News category.
