New Delhi: US President Donald Trump has announced a 10% extra tariff on Canada. He was angered by an anti-tariff ad shown at a baseball match on Friday, October 24. Two days earlier, Trump had suspended tariff negotiations with Canada because of this same ad. The ad used the words of former US President Ronald Reagan, in which he described tariffs as harmful to every American. The US already has a 35% tariff on Canada. With the new announcement, the tariff will rise to 45%, the highest tariff after India and Brazil.
