Reality star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian says her family’s hit reality series might not have lasted as long as it did without Caitlyn Jenner’s transition story.
During a taping of The Graham Norton Show, the 45-year-old SKIMS founder reflected on the early days of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and how her family’s lives often shaped the show’s unexpected longevity.
“We shot the pilot and had no idea what it would turn into, but 20 years on, it is still going,” Kim told host Graham Norton. “The shows write themselves. Once, when we wondered what might happen next, my stepdad turned into a woman and there were two more seasons right there!” she joked, referring to Caitlyn’s public transition in 2015.
