A worker at Acrisure Stadium fell about 50 feet from the main scoreboard on Saturday night and was taken to the hospital in critical condition, Pittsburgh Public Safety reported.
The man fell from the scoreboard to a mid-level catwalk at about 10 p.m., other workers told first responders. He suffered severe injuries, primarily to his lower extremities, according to public safety.
Rescuers loaded him onto a Stokes basket and lowered him to an ambulance waiting below. No additional info on his condition or the work he was performing was immediately available Sunday morning.
Pitt played NC State at Acrisure Stadium on Saturday. The Steelers are scheduled to host the Packers on Sunday night.
