Jimmy Carr has called disgraced writer Graham Linehan ‘brave’ while on tour in the US.
The Father Ted and IT Crowd writer, 57, was arrested by armed police when he touched down at Heathrow Airport in September.
The Irish writer was arrested ‘on suspicion of inciting violence’ after expressing anti-trans views on social media.
According to the Daily Mail, while at a show in Minneapolis for his Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny tour, the comic read questions submitted to him from the audience.
‘Welcome to Minnesota, Jimmy. Do you have any good jokes that would get you arrested at Heathrow?’ read one joke as an audience member shouted: ‘Where’s Graham Linehan?’
