Brandin Cooks could be on the move again — and if he is, the Saints wide receiver would make NFL history.

Cooks, in his second stint with New Orleans, might be traded by the league’s Nov. 4 trade deadline, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network , and he’d become the first player traded five times.

The 32-year-old is one of only three players to have been traded four times — along with linebacker Kiko Alonso and running back Eric Dickerson — and he’s played with the Saints (twice), as well as the New England Patriots, Los Angeles Rams, Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys.

So far this season, Cooks has 14 receptions for 127 yards with the Saints — a team that was thrown into disarray when quarterback Derek Carr stunningly retired during the offseason.
