Ruud van Nistelrooy has been brutally cut to size by former Leicester City striker Odsonne Edouard.
The French forward endured a torrid loan spell with the Foxes last season, where he claims the Dutchman – sacked in June – 'blocked' him from playing.
That meant the relegated side shelled out £2.5million, plus a large portion of his £90,000 a week wages for him to make just four appearances in the Premier League .
He also made two others in the EFL Cup as the former champions were demoted immediately upon their return from the Championship.
Edouard had struggled to replicate his impressive form with Celtic when he swapped Glasgow for Crystal Palace , but still had a decent record of 21 goals in 105 appearances, with many substitute appearances.
