SRINAGAR : As part of its continuing crackdown on narcotics-related offences, Jammu and Kashmir Police have attached a double-storey residential house valued at Rs 18,81,347 in Urpora Nagbal area of Shopian district. The property, with a plinth area of 944.58 square feet under Survey No. 259 min, belongs to Bilal Ahmad Sheikh, who has been found to have acquired it using proceeds from the sale of illegal drugs and narcotics. Police said the accused has been involved in multiple cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, including FIR numbers 126 of 2021, 80 of 2024, and 62 of 2025 registered at Police Station Zainapora.
