A 22-year-old BTech student died while attempting a high-speed bike stunt in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. The incident took place on late on Saturday night.

The victim, identified as Aniket, a resident of Nagchala in the Balh area, was reportedly performing the stunt for a social media video when the accident took place around 1 am near the Malori Tunnel on the Kiratpur–Manali four-lane road.

According to police, Aniket’s bike was travelling at a very high speed when it began to spark against the road surface. Moments later, he lost control and crashed. Preliminary investigation suggests that he suffered a broken neck and died on the spot, NDTV reported.
