MATTAWA, Wash. - Two people were injured in a crash on State Route 243 south of Mattawa on Wednesday at around 5:32 p.m.

According to a press release from Washington State Patrol (WSP), an 18-year-old from Mattawa was driving northbound when they crossed the center line and hit another car.

Both drivers were transported to Kadlec Medical Center.

WSP said it is unknown if either driver was wearing a seatbelt.

Charges against the 18-year-old are under investigation.
