In his first season as the Chicago Bears head coach, Ben Johnson has transformed the roster with a structured offensive identity built around physicality, tempo control, and situational discipline.

Prior to taking over in Chicago, Johnson was the offensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions from 2022-2024, when the franchise enjoyed some of its best years, thanks largely to its high-powered offense.

During the 2024 NFL season, Johnson's offense scored the most points in the league (33.2 per game) and set multiple records, including the most 40-point games without any turnovers (five) and the first team in league history with at least four different players with 1,000 or more yards from scrimmage.
