Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that Diella, the country’s AI-generated Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, is “pregnant” with 83 digital assistants one for each Socialist Party member of parliament.

Speaking at the Global Dialogue (BGD) in Berlin, Rama said: “We took quite a risk today with Diella here and we did very well. So for the first time Diella is pregnant and with 83 children.”

He explained the role of the assistants, adding: “Each one… will serve as an assistant for them who will participate in parliamentary sessions, and will keep a record of everything that happens and will suggest members of parliament.
