During a break in play late in the third period of home games, the Toledo Walleye send reserve mascot CatTrick to the north side of the Huntington Center to bang a drum in a bit called “Mayhem on Madison.”
After several months of traffic confusion on a nearby block of Madison Avenue where work on the Spitzer Building blocked the westbound lane, the Toledo Department of Transportation has decided to close that street in both directions to avoid any real-world mayhem there.
Until late April, Madison is closed on the east side of the Huron intersection. Access to the alley east of the Spitzer Building is maintained.
