A community celebration with stories of kindness and connection will take place Saturday at Ottawa Park.

InspireFest by Neighbor to Neighbor, an outreach “peace initiative” of St. Michael’s in the Hills Episcopal Church, runs from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the park’s shelter house.

Featured presenters sharing personal stories of kindness and connection include Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz, representatives from the Luken T. Boyle Kindness Project, singer Risa Cohen, Jera Stewart of Jera’s Heavenly Sweet, and Toledo Tomorrow.

The free event includes music, food provided by the city’s Human Relations Commission, dancing, and kids’ activities, according to an event flyer.

Use the Kenwood Boulevard entrance to the park to access InspireFest.
