The University of Toledo is hosting its 25th annual Great Lakes Water Conference with a variety of panelists set to explore issues related to water security.
Water Security and the Great Lakes Region is a live webinar Oct. 31 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The panelists, with expertise in law, public policy, and civil engineering, will cover water treatment cybersecurity, aging water infrastructure, and climate-related natural disasters, a news release said.
“Water security means not just that a population has enough water, but that it’s able to protect it from threats both natural and man-made,” said Evan Zoldan, director of the Legal Institute of the Great Lakes.
Attendees are required to register online by Oct. 29. Registration is free for most. A $55 fee will be applied for those see
