(WNDU) - The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Indiana Hoosiers both stayed put in the latest Associated Press Top 25 college football poll .

The Irish (5-2) remain at No. 12 after having a bye week while the Hoosiers stayed at No. 2 after steamrolling UCLA . IU received 11 first-place votes in this week’s poll.

As for other regional teams in the poll, Michigan moved up four spots from No. 25 to No. 21 after beating Michigan State.

Most of the shakeup in this week’s poll came outside of the top 10, as the top six teams remained unchanged.

NEWCOMERS : Houston (No. 22), USC (No. 23), Utah (No. 24) and Memphis (No. 25)

DROPPED OUT : South Florida (No. 18), LSU (No. 20), Illinois (No. 23) and Arizona State (No. 24)

BIGGEST JUMP : Cincinnati and Michigan (four spots)
