A man died Sunday after a motorcycle crash in Acushnet, Massachusetts, over the weekend.

First responders were first called to the crash in front of 44 Main St. around 10 p.m. Saturday. When they arrived they found the rider with life-threatening injuries and the bike with "catastrophic" damage, according to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office.

The rider, 27-year-old Michah Nason of Plymouth, was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Investigators do not believe any other vehicles were involved in the crash, according to the DA. The investigation is ongoing.
