MEXICO BEACH, Fla (WMBB) - A strong thunderstorm with a tornadic signature pushed through Mexico Beach early Monday morning. The video above is some of the first from the scene.

Storm Team 13 Chief Meteorologist Justin Kiefer and Meteorologist Caroline McKenzie were on air covering the potential tornado live as it traveled across southeastern Bay County into Gulf County.

The National Weather Service will now do an analysis to determine if it was a tornado or strong winds.

News 13 has crews in Mexico Beach and will provide updates throughout the day.
