The 13th annual Nogales Bicycle Classic saw hundreds of cyclists and their supporters pack Morley Ave Saturday morning, lining up and zooming away in waves to Kino Springs, Patagonia, Sonoita and back.
This was the fourth year the Nogales event has served as the state championship race for Arizona’s chapter of USA Cycling, and registration just barely beat out last year to set a new record for the race, according to Joey Iuliano of AZ Cycling. In all, 431 racers tried their luck. ×
