A driver was hospitalized Tuesday morning, Oct. 28 after hitting a deer on the Garden State Parkway in Bergen County, authorities said.
New Jersey State Police responded to the crash around 8:45 a.m. near milepost 169.7 northbound in Woodcliff Lake, where a Honda SUV struck a deer in the roadway, Trooper II Christopher Postorino said.
The driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment, Postorino said.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional details were immediately available.
