A wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 10:47 a.m. in effect until Wednesday at 6 a.m. for Grande Ronde Valley.

The weather service adds to anticipate, "South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph for Ladd and Pyles Canyons."

"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," explains the weather service. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."
