Randall Rene ‘Randy’ Schenk, 64, died Oct. 25, 2025, at his home in Great Bend, Kan. He was born Jan. 4, 1961, in Hoisington, Kan., the son of Donald D. ‘Shorty’ and Karlene K. (Kraus) Schenk. Randy graduated from Great Bend High School.

A Great Bend resident, formerly of Olmitz, Randy had worked as a farm hand and for Aaron’s Repair. He was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church of Olmitz.

He is survived by his sister, Sheryl Hickel and husband Jim; and a nephew, Dylan Hickel, all of Claflin. He was preceded in death by his parent; and brothers, Darrell, Ronald, and Larry.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 31, 2025 at St. Ann Cemetery, Olmitz. Friends may sign the book now until service at the funeral home. There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place. M
