(WSIL) -- Victory Dream Center Food Pantry is urgently seeking community support as they said they face unprecedented demand due to the federal government's announcement to cut off all SNAP benefits starting Saturday, November 1. The organization stated the loss of funds for SNAP will affect vulnerable groups, including the disabled, veterans, children, and seniors, leaving them without essential food aid.
Last Saturday, the food pantry recorded serving a record 239 households, representing 603 individuals, with 22 households visiting for the first time.
