CARBONDALE, Ill. (WSIL) -- SIU Athletics has launched the Salute to Service Sweepstakes, a new initiative aimed at honoring veterans and active-duty military members. The sweepstakes will run through November 2, 2025.

The campaign, in partnership with the Illinois Air National Guard and SI Roofing & Siding, offers several prizes. One veteran or active-duty military member will win a new roof, courtesy of SI Roofing & Siding. Additionally, four Saluki Basketball season ticket packages are up for grabs, and multiple winners will get a chance to be featured on the video board during the Military Appreciation Game on November 15.
