Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker has made 18 of 19 field goals so far this season.

The NFL season enters November this weekend, bringing with it an additional variable of colder weather in the league's outdoor stadiums.

While the current generation of kickers is far less impacted by the elements than those in the past, it's still preferable to play games in warmer climates, or even indoors, to ensure the highest odds of success.

Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker is one of those fortunate specialists, even though he's playing outdoors on Sunday at Tennessee. Not surprisingly, Dicker leads the NFL in field goals made through the first eight weeks, connecting on 18 of his 19 attempts.
