SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Tuesday afternoon was a cloudy and cool day with highs that only topped out in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

Normal highs this time of October should be in the mid 70s.

Wednesday afternoon will again be mostly cloudy, but temperatures will be milder ahead of the next cold front that is expected to move through in the evening. Highs Wednesday will be in the mid to upper 60s.

A few showers are expected along the front during the evening. Most rainfall will be light, and some locations may miss out on rain all together.

Cooler and drier air will begin to filter into the southeast on Thursday with afternoon high temperatures only reaching the mid 60s.
