Northwest Arkansas man sentenced to 150 years for killing mother, uncle

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - A northwest Arkansas man received a 150-year prison sentence for murdering his mother and uncle in 2021.

Samuel Simmons of Madison County pleaded guilty to killing both relatives and attempting to murder his father, who survived multiple gunshots at their home.

Deputies arrived at the scene and found the father, who told them Simmons shot all three family members.
