IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Kaden Wetjen has been one of the stars for the 6-2 Hawkeyes this season. A punt return touchdown against Minnesota was the Williamsburg native’s fifth overall return touchdown, tying Tim Dwight for the program record.
Tuesday afternoon, special teams coordinator LeVar Woods revealed that while Wetjen has always been fearless, it took him a little while to become the top returner he is today.
“He was fast and he was going 100 different directions fast, but never the right direction. I think he put in the time, and he learned and he studied,” said Woods. “There’s people that are obsessed, and they’re finding all the different ways, the tricks, ‘what more can I do?’ I think Kaden is in that world, in the obsessed world, and he continues to do that each and every wee
