MACOMB – Thanks to victories in three close sets, Macomb L’Anse Creuse North was able to cap their 2025 home season with a win Tuesday.

This time the Crusaders had much to celebrate on their senior night as they swept the arch-rival Harrison Township L’Anse Creuse 25-20, 25-19, 25-21.

Leading the Crusaders was senior Morgan Janowski with 13 kills, followed by senior Sam Curts with 11 kills. Senior Ava VanDriessche had six kills, Isabella Hill had four kills while Ella Griffith followed with three kills for L’Anse Creuse North (22-9-0). Senior libero Aubrey O’Connor added five aces to get within six aces of the single-season school record of 78. Isabella Grinde had 22 assists for the Crusaders.

L’Anse Creuse falls to 11-19-1 on the season.
