George Springer has been in the limelight throughout this postseason for various reasons. The slugger was hit by a pitch during the ALCS against the Seattle Mariners, but he came back strong and contributed well in the World Series, until he was forced to exit Game 3.

Springer took a swing and left the game immediately. The Dodgers won after recording the longest World Series game that lasted for 18 innings. Toronto rebounded in Game 4 with a strong performance (6-2) and all without George Springer.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider kept Springer out for Game 4. The Blue Jays star underwent an MRI, and fortunately, it revealed only minor discomfort. According to the reports, there is no significant damage, but Schneider wanted to play it safe.
