The Billy Wilder Theater Celebrates LGBTQ+ Stories and Pioneering Women in Film

The UCLA Film & Television Archive will spotlight queer narratives and pioneering women in film during a weekend series of screenings from Friday, Oct. 31, through Sunday, November 2 , at the Billy Wilder Theater at the Hammer Museum .

The three-day program spans eras of cinematic history, from classic Hollywood melodrama to New Queer Cinema and 1970s feminist film, offering audiences a rare chance to experience works that broke conventions of gender, sexuality, and storytelling on the big screen.
