SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - The coldest air of the season is a day away. Yesterday’s cold front brought in some drier air, so the one coming in tonight will not produce any rain. However, it will usher in much drier and cooler conditions. Daytime highs will fall into the 70s, dipping a few degrees lower by Friday. Skies will be a deep blue, and the sun will shine brightly.
At night, temperatures will drop more quickly than we’ve seen in recent days, and the air will take on a bit of a chill as winds remain elevated. Small Craft Advisories will be in effect, but winds will begin to die down over the weekend.
Next week, we’ll warm up slightly during the early part of the week, but by midweek another front will move through and once again sweep away the humidity.
